Yorkshire Housing Announces 37 New Homes in Ripon

Yorkshire Housing have appointed NuSpace Homes Ripon to construct 37 new mixed tenure homes at Hutton Bank, offering affordable rent, rent to buy, and shared ownership options. The project has received grant funding from Homes England and has been granted outline planning permission by North Yorkshire Council for the high-demand housing area. The development will begin with the demolition of existing vacant buildings, followed by the construction of the new homes in early 2022. Sian Webster, director of development at Yorkshire Housing, expressed excitement about the opportunity to provide quality new homes to address the need for affordable housing in Yorkshire. Stephen Hampshire of NuSpace Ripon also expressed pride in their partnership with Yorkshire Housing and the opportunity to deliver much-needed homes in a prime location. The goal is to have the first homes ready for occupancy in early 2025, with the entire site completed by December of the same year.
