Labour MP Ms Maskell addressed the House of Commons today regarding the closure of another York dental practice to adult NHS patients. She criticized the government for consistently failing to deliver on promises to improve NHS dentistry, leaving her constituents with no access to NHS dentists. Ms Maskell demanded action from the health minister to ensure that her constituents can register with an NHS dentist. In response, health minister Dame Andrea Leadsom acknowledged the challenges and claimed that the situation has improved over the past year. She mentioned plans for significant reforms to enable more people to be seen by NHS dentists.
