York Campus of Askham Bryan College to Shut Down on Tuesday

The York campus of Askham Bryan College will be closed on Tuesday, January 9, but the college’s other learning centres will remain open. The college buses to the York Campus will not be running on Tuesday.

Classes will be delivered online where possible, and students will be contacted by their course manager with further details and links for online learning. Students are advised to check their college email and teams channels for information.

Residential blocks will close at 6pm today. An alternative timetable for exams for HE students in exam week is being arranged.

The college is hoping to reopen the York Campus on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, with a further update to be issued on Tuesday, January 9 at midday. All animals and livestock have an emergency water supply and their health and welfare is unaffected.

Askham Bryan College offers a range of agricultural and animal science courses, from animal management to veterinary nursing.
