This seven-seater is now available with a hybrid engine for greater efficiency, adding to its existing space, practicality and equipment.
The Jogger Hybrid 140 is Dacia’s first electrified model in the UK. It features a powertrain that combines two electric motors with a 1.6-litre petrol engine, eliminating the need for it to be plugged in. The hybrid set-up also introduces an automatic gearbox to the Jogger line-up, enhancing its performance.
As expected, the hybrid version is pricier than the conventionally powered Jogger, but it still offers excellent value for money, priced at under £23,000. The engine is borrowed from Dacia’s parent company, Renault, known from models such as the Clio and Captur hybrids, allowing Dacia to maintain its value-oriented approach.
Despite the electrification, the vehicle’s key strengths, such as space, flexibility and equipment, remain unchanged. The hybrid Jogger is designed for comfort and ease-of-use, with ample interior space and flexibility for various activities.
The hybrid engine contributes to extra efficiency, with the vehicle achieving an official combined fuel economy of 56.5mpg and emitting 112g/km of CO2. The system produces 138bhp and 144Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-62mph time of just over 10 seconds.
The hybrid version is available in the top two trim levels, offering an extensive range of features like a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, and a responsive infotainment system with smartphone integration. The vehicle also provides plenty of space for passengers and luggage, making it a versatile choice for everyday use.
With all three rows of seats in place, the boot capacity is 212 litres, which expands to almost 700 litres with the third row folded down. The third row can also be removed entirely for additional load space when needed.
For those seeking a practical and efficient seven-seater, the Dacia Jogger hybrid offers a compelling option, combining space, flexibility, and fuel efficiency at an attractive price point.
