Recently, the 64-year-old was seen on ITV chat shows like This Morning alongside Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary as co-host.
She guest-edited the broadcaster’s flagship show and mentioned that she was approached to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, “every single year”.
She was also a panelist on Loose Women in November to launch its Don’t Skip Your Screening breast cancer campaign after her recent diagnosis earlier the same year.
Is the Duchess of York going on Celebrity Big Brother?
The Duchess of York’s representatives have denied the rumors that she is appearing in the Celebrity Big Brother reboot airing in 2024, calling the original story “complete nonsense.”
Big Brother made a comeback in October after a five-year hiatus and the 20-year-old Jordan Sangha was the winner.
A spokesman for the duchess has rubbished the speculation, stating: “This story is complete nonsense.
“The duchess will not be appearing on this show.
“As is widely known, she does not consider reality TV formats.”
A Big Brother spokesperson has also confirmed that any names linked to Celebrity Big Brother are “purely speculation”.
When is Celebrity Big Brother on TV in 2024?
ITV will be launching a new celebrity edition of Big Brother next year, though the start date is yet to be announced.
Director of reality commissioning and acquisitions and controller, ITV2 and ITVBe, Paul Mortimer said: “The reception from our viewers to Big Brother’s return has been fantastic.
“We’re therefore thrilled to announce that we’ll be bringing our very own celebrity edition to ITV1 and ITVX next year.
“Casting is underway to find a new batch of famous faces who are sure to provide more iconic and unmissable BB moments.”
Historically, Celebrity Big Brother has aired between January and March.
The 2024 reboot will have famous faces as contestants, participating in weekly nominations and challenges as cameras document their every move.
