While Eiffel Tower’s identity remains a mystery, viewers of the show are convinced that they have figured out who it is based on the clues provided in the latest episode.
In the most recent episode on January 20, the judging panel, which includes Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, and guest star Jennifer Saunders, received several hints.
The Masked Singer fans believe that Gabrielle is the Eiffel Tower
ITV’s The Masked Singer fans expressed on platforms like Twitter that they believe the Eiffel Tower is the UK singer-songwriter Gabrielle.
Mo Gilligan was the first to suggest this, and several others agreed with the guess.
One person said: “said the same as Mo and thought Eiffel Tower sounded so like Gabrielle. The only other person that sounds like that to me is Anastacia.”
Another wrote: “Could it be an impressionist? Like Jane Horrocks? Only because sounds so much like Gabrielle. If Gabrielle needs a stand in Eiffel Tower could do it! Haha.”
Another fan shared: “I do think Eiffel Tower does sound like former contestant Gabrielle, but could be wrong. Whoever it is seems to have the same vocal range as her.”
Gabrielle, whose real name is Louise Gabrielle Bobb, gained fame with her debut single ‘Dreams’ in 1993, which topped the UK Singles Chart that year.
She is also known for songs such as ‘Going Nowhere’, ‘Walk On By’ and ‘Give Me a Little More Time’.
The 54-year-old previously appeared on The Masked Singer as the character Harlequin in the show’s second series, making a repeat appearance unlikely.
The Masked Singer will continue airing on ITV1, STV, and ITVX next Saturday.
