Delay in York’s local plan described as ‘incompetent and damning’

It seems unlikely that the adopted Local Plan will be achieved, indicating a significant failure. The astronomical salaries and pension benefits at the top level of local government are justified by the high skills and responsibilities of the individuals in those positions. Now that their failure is apparent, responsibility must be taken. York’s shabby city centre

During a recent visit to York city centre, the writer and their spouse encountered challenges including dodging potholes and cyclists while navigating the bollards and puddles in Parliament Street.
