Co-op to Discontinue Rewards Scheme in January – Find Out the Date

A Co-op membership costs £1 and gives access to “exclusive offers, discounts, and events”. Part of the perks includes earning 2p credit for every £1 spent on Co-op branded goods which is set to change. Members received an email stating that they will no longer earn the 2p rewards starting January 24, 2024. Instead, they will receive exclusive member prices across various services. Money Saving Experts suggests that shoppers will be offered discounts on Co-op branded products and services and non-Co-op branded items through its “Member Prices” scheme. The decision to scrap the rewards scheme was revealed by Co-op, stating that they are making changes to give more value back to members. From January 24, members will benefit from an increased number of member prices and deals in all the Co-op businesses.
